THIS week we launched a brand-new website which has delivered on its promise of being faster, easier to navigate and a great experience with access to more stories, reader rewards and puzzles.

But we know change is never easy so we want to thank you for your continued support of local journalism.

And we also want to help you better navigate our site and make the very most of its features.

For some of our readers, accessing the digital edition of the paper is the first thing they do each morning.

On the desktop version of our site you can find a link to that in the top left.

You could also bookmark this page thechronicle.digitaleditions.com.au or add it to your home screen on your iPad or tablet.

You can do that of course with our website home page as well. thechronicle.com.au

Your subscriber Rewards can be found in the top right hand section of the blue navigation bar or by clicking here plusrewards.com.au/thechronicle/offers

If you’re a crossword fan, we have even more to offer with a cryptic crossword added, along with another crossword and sudoku.

You can find those here under the lifestyle menu in the navigation bar

One of the big benefits of moving to our new site is that all the content from other News sites flows straight through to our Queensland, national, world, lifestyle, entertainment and sports sections.

That means you get news from around the nation as it is happening. You won’t miss a thing.

But we know local news is what you come to us for so we have ensured there are dedicated sections under local news for police and courts, development, council, real estate as well as local opinion and community news.

At the top left of the page, in the blue navigation strip, you will also find quick access to our My Tributes website where you can find the latest funeral and death notices thechronicle.com.au/tributes/

The Chronicle’s new look and feel has been designed after extensive research and feedback from News’ subscribers across the country.

There will be even more features added in coming months and already our technical teams are working on your feedback and improving the site.

If you’ve been away and haven’t logged in to the new site, you will need to login again. For most of you, it’s just a case of using your normal email and password.

If you have set up your account with a different News Corp publication, such as The Courier-Mail, you’ll need to use the password linked to this account when logging in The Chronicle.

Remember, if you’re having trouble logging in:

Forgot Password? Simply go to thechronicle.com.au, locate the ‘Login’ button in the top right-hand corner of your screen & click on ‘Forgot your password’

Forgot your email address? Call 1300 MY NEWS (1300 696 397). We are open Monday to Friday 7:30am to 6:00pm and 7:00am - 11:30am AEST on both Saturday & Sunday.

We again thank you for your support. It means so much to my hard working news team.
