'Minimal impact' at Churches of Christ Care Aged Care

YOUR SAY: A POSITIVE resolution has been found for nursing staff at our Toowoomba Aged Care Service.

YOUR SAY: A POSITIVE resolution has been found for nursing staff at our Toowoomba Aged Care Service and we were keen for the community to know about it.

Initially it appeared a reduction in the hours of some individual staff working at the Toowoomba service might be required.

But management and staff worked closely together over several weeks and we were able to together find a solution that involved minimal impact to staff or the service.

I sincerely thank staff, residents and their families for their patience during this time.

Staffing at Churches of Christ Care Toowoomba Aged Care Service will continue to remain above the industry standard and registered nursing staff will be available to care for and support residents 24 hours a day.

We are always looking at the best staffing levels to balance our care commitments with the government's funding model.

We have been providing quality aged care and retirement living in Toowoomba for nearly 60 years, and look forward to providing these and other services to the community for many years to come.
