Major Toowoomba business awards event back for another year

IT'S been a challenging year, and the Toowoomba Chamber is determined to give local businesses a chance to celebrate their achievements.

YES, they are on again!

Back by popular demand: The Business Excellence Awards 2020.

(COVID-19 compliant, of course.)

So, save the date - December 12, 2020.

This is a much-anticipated event, and we invite all to engage and participate in the 2020 Business Excellence Awards.

Now in its 13th year and proudly brought to you by the Toowoomba Chamber of Commerce, the awards are designed to celebrate the efforts and achievements of the city's diverse and dedicated business community and recognise the contribution to creating a strong, healthy, vibrant region.

The event's main goal is to acknowledge the year we all have lived through and celebrate with the business community - our resilience, adaptation, innovations and survival, among other things.

This year we change it up.

New award categories have been created, a simplified application process developed, and a series of events and launches are planned across the city to celebrate with as many small businesses and people as possible.

So, look out for announcements and events around sponsors, nominations, finalists and much, much more in the coming weeks and months.

The Business Excellence Awards will be an evening of all the grandeur expected in honour of our nominations and finalists, including pre-event entertainment before being moved to the awards ceremony to learn who will receive the highest business honours and accolades within our region.

Following the award announcements, post-parties are proposed in multiple venues across the region where guests will be catered for by our local leading hospitality providers.

It will be a simple way to celebrate with multiple small businesses in the city.

The Toowoomba region has a diverse and resilient economy that is supported by Toowoomba's Wellcamp Airport and a vast array of small to medium businesses that are an important fabric of our community.
