LETTER: The council needs to give us the answers

DUE to the results of the local election whereas we only got two new councillor’s will the ratepayers under the banner of the TRC be kept in the dark?

DUE to the results of the local election where we only got two new councillors, will the ratepayers under the banner of the TRC be kept in the dark like previous years when important decisions concerning this electorate are made?

Until the last election TRC covered up the fact that a contract was in place with Queensland Government concerning the water pipeline.

The contents of this contract are unknown to the ratepayer's yet we are forced to pay the fees connected to this contract.

Does anyone have photos or video of the pipeline actually running as? I am sure ratepayers would love to see some evidence of the pipeline in operation. I believe TRC are obliged to show us this information because of this huge expense you have forced on us.

We would like to know what is written in the contract regarding the pipeline and why this was kept a big secret before the election?

Extra costs listed on rate notice, please tell us who and where are the recipient of these levies.

A. Environmental Levy

B. Natural Resource Management Levy

C. Park and Bushland Levy

D. Emergency Management Levy and what discussion if any took place with ratepayers before these levies were introduced?

How many ratepayers come under the banner of the TRC, that are forced pay these costs?
