Police are hoping to identify this man, who they believe may be able to help their investigation into the theft of $250 worth of clothes from a Coolangatta store on March 11.

A man allegedly entered the Griffith St store at about 10.15am on that day, and left without paying for $250 worth of items.

Police are still investigating the theft of $1000 worth of groceries from a Mermaid Waters store from November last year.

Police allege a trolley was packed full of groceries – totalling to around $1000 – before two people pushed the cart out the door allegedly without paying.

The groceries were allegedly stolen from the supermarket on Bermuda St at around 7.45pm on November 7.

Police believe the man and woman pictured might be able to help their investigation into the theft.

Police are investigating after one man allegedly stole from two separate outlets of the same chain on one day.

Close to $900 worth of clothes were allegedly stolen in the multi-stop heist which stretched from Burleigh Waters to Upper Coomera.

Police allege a man first took $350 worth of clothing from a store off Santa Maria Ct at Burleigh Waters at around noon on January 19.

It wasn’t long before he allegedly struck again on the northern Gold Coast, walking into the Upper Coomera outlet of the same store on Days Rd at about 2.30pm.

Police allege he then left without paying for $520 worth of clothes.

The man pictured may be able to help police with their investigation into the incident, a Queensland Police Service spokesman said.

Anyone who recognises the man is asked to com forward, as he may be able to assist police.
