ROUND up a group of friends for Toowoomba Regional Council's free 2016 Seniors Concert series, Oldies but Goodies, featuring popular southern Queensland entertainer John Miners.
The concerts will showcase tried and true country and rock songs from the 1940s - 1960s.
Doors open at 9.15am with a complimentary morning tea followed by the concert and sing-along from 10am to noon.
Bookings are essential, so please call 131 872 to reserve a place.
Functions will be held at:
- Oakey Cultural Centre on Monday, May 16
- Millmerran Cultural Centre on Tuesday, May 17
- Pittsworth Function Centre on Wednesday, May 18
- Yarraman Hall on Thursday, May 19
- Crows Nest RSL and Community Centre on Tuesday, May 24
- Cambooya Hall on Wednesday, May 25
- Clifton F. E. Logan Hall on Thursday, May 26
- Toowoomba's All Seasons Function Centre on Friday, May 27
Mr Miners has performed around southern Queensland for more than 20 years with shows at numerous RSL clubs and other venues in and around Toowoomba.
The concerts are sponsored by Toowoomba Regional Council with organisational input from Council's Community Development branch.
