A woman’s body has been found in bushland near Penrith.
The shocking discovery was made just after 1pm in a reserve at Werrington.
NSW Police said officers from Nepean were called to Irwin St, just after 1pm, where the body was found.
A crime scene has been set up and the area blocked off while police canvas the area from the ground and the air.
The State Crime Command’s homicide squad detectives have been called in to help with the investigation.
