NORMALLY she’s the glamorous queen of the red carpet but when it comes to acting Margot Robbieis happy to lose herself in her work.
The 27-year-old was barely recognisable as she continued to film scenes as Queen Elizabeth I in London yesterday.
Robbie was spotted parading around on the set of Mary Queen of Scots in her fuzzy red wig and white pockmarked face.
The film also stars Irish actor Saoirse Ronan as the titular character, fellow Australian Guy Pearce, and Taylor Swift’snew beau Joe Alwyn. It centres around Mary Stuart’s attempt to overthrow her cousin Queen Elizabeth I in 1568.

This isn’t the first time Robbie has transformed herself for a role. The Gold Coast-born star wrapped herself in flesh-coloured padding and popped on a fuzzy blonde wig to play disgraced US figure-skater Tony Harding in I, Tonya.
