Belmore descended into wild celebrations overnight as Bulldogs fans flooded the streets with drums, chants and burnouts after a win over the Parramatta Eels.

Belmore erupted into a sea of blue and white overnight as Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs fans celebrated a win, bringing the suburb streets into chaos with drums, chants and burnouts.

Footage uploaded to Facebook showed jubilant scenes, with one man grinning as he beat a drum from the hood of a slow moving car surrounded by a crowd dressed in Bulldogs colours. The video was captioned ’Belmore partying into the night’.

A group of men was seen clapping in the back of a ute, its horn blaring as police sirens echoed nearby.

Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs fans could be seen celebrating the win in videos uploaded to Facebook.

There were jubilant scenes with people on drums.

Crowds lined the streets and pedestrian islands, waving flags and singing along to Baha Men’s song ‘Who Let the Dogs Out’.

While many revelled in the victory, not everyone welcomed the commotion, with one local woman commenting online: “Go home and turn the heater on.”

Beyond the street celebrations, deeper concerns have been raised about the behaviour of some Bulldogs supporters inside the stadium.

Parramatta Eels supporter Deborah attended her first NRL match with her two sons, aged 9 and 12, for what was meant to be an exciting family outing — but it turned sour after they were subjected to repeated harassment from a group of Bulldogs fans.

According to Deborah, the group made obscene gestures, used offensive language and vaped throughout the match — behaviour she described as “intimidating,” particularly for her young boys.

“We tried to ignore it, but it just didn’t stop,” she said on Ben Fordham’s 2GB show.
