A young husband and father tragically killed in a horror crash in western NSW just days ago while returning home from prayer, has been remembered as a “kind-hearted and humble soul”.

Asadullah Satti and his eight-year-old nephew were being driven home from Orange Mosque along Henry Parkes Way on Saturday afternoon by his brother, when their Kia sedan left the roadway and crashed into a tree.

Central West Police District officers and NSW Ambulance attended the scene, but despite their best efforts, Mr Satti could not be revived and died at the scene.

He was just 33-years-old.

His brother and nephew were treated at the scene before being taken to Orange Base Hospital.

Mr Satti is being remembered by loved ones for his intellect and for being a humble and kind-hearted soul who “touched many lives with his sincerity and generosity”.

“His sudden departure is a profound loss to his family, friends, and the wider community,” family friend Sana Arooj said.

A GoFundMe was created on Sunday to raise funds to cover Mr Satti’s funeral.

In just days, more than $66,000 has been raised.

“As friends and community members, we are coming together to help cover the funeral expenses, including burial arrangements, transportation, and related services,” Ms Arooj said.

“The additional funds will be used to support his family during this difficult time.”

Tributes for the young man are also flowing online, with Mr Satti’s cousin Pak Aus Pacf labelling the crash “extremely tragic”.

“Please contribute and actively share the link to raise funds for Asad’s funeral and support for his young family of three,” he posted.

Meanwhile, community group Dubbo Muslim Community remembered Mr Satti as a “beloved brother”.

“Let us come together as a community to support our brother in his final journey and help ease the burden on his loved ones,” they said.

NSW Police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and a report is being prepared for the coroner.
