A 21-year-old has been charged with murder after a man’s body was found with multiple stab wounds in Sydney’s south-west.

A man has been charged with murder after police discovered the body of a 34-year-old man inside a home in Sydney’s southwest over the weekend.
Emergency services were called to a property on Lakemba Street, Belmore, around 9pm on March 15, following reports of a concern for welfare.
Upon arrival, officers found the man’s body with multiple stab wounds and a crime scene was established with several items being seized for examination.
A 24-year-old man was initially taken to Concord Hospital for assessment but was later released without charge.
An investigation led to the arrest of a 21-year-old man at Bankstown Police Station on March 17.
He was subsequently charged with murder and refused bail and set to appear before Bankstown Local Court today.
Authorities continue their inquiries into the incident.
