Sam Burgess is to be a father for a third time.
The ex-Rabbitohs star has told friends and family partner Lucy Graham has passed the three-month mark of her pregnancy.
A representative for Burgess confirmed the pregnancy.
“Both Sam and Lucy are happy and healthy and excited about their future together,” the spokeswoman said.
“He is extrtemely happy,” a family friend told Confidential.
Burgess is father to daughter, Poppy, and son, William, from his previous marriage to journalist Phoebe Burgess.
The former professional footballer, who now works on the coaching team with the Rabbitohs, went public with his new romance just a few months ago.
Burgess, 34, and hairdresser Graham, who is also from the UK, were friends for years before becoming an item.
They debuted the relationship officially on the red carpet for close mate Russell Crowe’s Rome film premiere for Poker Face in October.
Graham is from Leeds in the UK, where she worked as a hairdresser and had her own fashion business called Sentenced, before moving to Australia to be with Burgess.
He was married in 2015 to Phoebe and separated from her three years later.
