Australia’s national security challenges and the $368bn nuclear-powered submarine project’s future were discussed at a high-powered event in Canberra hosted by News Corp Australia on Monday night.
Political and military leaders, industry experts and eminent academics discussed the challenge of rapidly growing a skilled workforce to build the world’s most complex machines in Adelaide. The panels were joined by young workers already working in the defence industry at campaign partners BAE Systems Australia, ANU, Babcock, KBR, Defence SA, and ASC.
