Motorists urged to avoid busy intersection after collision

TWO cars have collided at a busy Newtown intersection, with one vehicle leaking fluids on the road.

TWO cars have collided at a busy Newtown intersection, with one vehicle leaking fluids on the road.

Emergency services are responding to the incident outside the Fiveways at the intersection of Russell and West Streets.

Initial reports suggest no-one is trapped in either of the vehicles which crashed about 8.55am.

One vehicle, however, is leaking fluids on the roadway.

Motorists are urged to avoid the area to allow emergency services to clear the scene.
