TOOWOOMBA got drenched at the weekend, with constant rain falling across the two days.
According to the Bureau of Meteorology Toowoomba recorded 18mm on both Saturday and Sunday.
Brisbane West Wellcamp Airport recorded 18mm on Saturday and 32mm on Sunday.
Ravensbourne recorded the most rain in the region with 75mm falling across the weekend.
BoM forecaster Harry Clark said rain would continue to fall over the next two days.
"It is quite a complex system because an 'upper low' is entering the state providing instability and moisture which is causing showers to form," he said.
"The rain is heading north but for the next two days the Toowoomba region will see rain with strong winds.
"It will be pretty miserable with temperatures remaining quite cool as well."
Toowoomba is set to have a maximum temperature of 17 degrees today, with winds reaching up to 45kmh and 10mm of rain predicted.
Tomorrow temperatures will reach between 16 and 19 degrees with 40kmh winds and 10mm of rain.
The rest of the week there is a medium chance of showers but with less than 0.5mm forecast to fall each day.
