PASSIONATE about producing eco-friendly and ethical products, a new Toowoomba business is changing the way we think about skin care.

With a background in beauty therapy, the 29-year-old began investigating ways to make her own chemical-free and affordable range.

Initially Ms Butler focused solely on soap bars and bath salts, but she has since branched out to creating body butters, milk bath soaks, clay masks, hair bars and laundry powder too.

The new business owner said she avoided using nasty chemicals, artificial colouring and synthetic additives that might cause irritations or long-term damage to the skin.

“All my products are handmade by me, I take great care in ordering only local and Australian made ingredients, and I ensure that they are palm-oil and cruelty free,” Ms Butler said.

“The majority of my products are also vegan friendly and chemical free, are gentle and effective on all skin types and leave your skin feeling rejuvenated, rehydrated and refreshed after every use.

“I believe that everyone should be aware of what is in the products they are using and the impact that they are having in the ecosystem they live in.”

And while the business is only new, Ms Butler said she was pleasantly surprised by the positive response it had already received.

“I am incredibly humbled by the amazing community support and am deeply appreciative of the opportunity I have been given,” she said.

“When I first started this business, I was not expecting to see it grow as fast as it is, but now I am looking at bigger and brighter horizons to explore.”
