MEN who served in Six Platoon, B company, Fifth Battalion RAR during the Vietnam war reunited regularly to recall how serving their country brought them together.
They share the memories and stories gathered over the years since.
"We lost some good mates, we support each other … it's the best thing that came out of Vietnam - the boys that are here," said platoon commander Ted Pott after an informal service at Toowoomba's Vietnam War Memorial.
While the group chat a steady flow of other vets come to pay respect.
