AN ELDERLY man was trapped in a wrecked car for about 30 minutes after it collided with a truck on Anzac Avenue in Drayton.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said fireys were called to the crash shortly before 6.30pm.
"We made access to the vehicle using cutters and spreaders, opened the vehicle up and got the man out," she said.
Paramedics transported the man to the Toowoomba Hospital.
The crash blocked traffic along Anzac Avenue for about an hour, near the corner with Canning St.
