A QUICK response by police resulted in the arrest of two alleged offenders only moments after they robbed a man at the South Toowoomba Hungry Jacks.
Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Brian Collins said the two men, both 22-years old, assaulted an 18-year-old man who was waiting outside the restaurant, about 12am on Saturday.
"The alleged offenders demanded the victim's wallet," he said
"The victim has then thrown his wallet and iPhone on the ground and the offenders have run from the scene."
Police arrested the pair a short time later in Alderley St.
They recovered the man's phone, but not his wallet.
One of the alleged offenders will face the Toowoomba Magistrates Court today while the second was bailed to appear in August.
Both were charged with robbery and assault.
