She’s delivered thousands of babies over her lengthy career and now she’s been named as a national award finalist across seven categories.

Through her venture, which is one of Australia’s largest Medicare rebated midwifery practices, Ms Wilkes has supported mothers through their pregnancy, labour, birth and post-birth journeys.

And now she’s been announced as a finalist in the AusMumpreneur Awards across seven categories.

“Our nominations have been predominantly for making a difference in the lives of women,” Ms Wilkes said.

“But it’s the women of Toowoomba who have really given me the drive to keep going because they were so passionate about what they wanted.”
