A LITTLE bit of everything is one way to describe Kevin and Dianna Drew's stunning Highfields garden, named Reserve Grand Champion this year.

Depending where you stand, a stroll around the garden can transport you to entirely different places. The stunning centrepiece is of one of the most lush wisteria vines you're likely to come across.

The tranquil waterfall area is a bit of a novelty for most Toowoomba gardeners.

Then there's the gazebo, hemmed in by flowering shrubs, perennials and annuals, looking straight out of a picture book.

Mr Drew said despite a bit of poor health for wife Dianna, their garden was one of the most enjoyable parts of their lives and well worth the effort.

And despite slipping over and hurting his knee the same day as her surgery, they wouldn't have missed a minute in the garden by hiring in help.

"It's just the two of us who work on it," he said.

"It's our own doing; we haven't hired anyone.

"It's a big job and a big expense, but we look for the end results and get enjoyment out of it."
