A GIANT kookaburra built to bring laughter to the community flew into Toowoomba yesterday.
Built by Dr Farvardin Daliri in Brisbane at the height of the coronavirus lockdown, it is now spreading cheer on the journey to Townsville.
Responding to the anxiety in the community at the time Dr Daliri said he thought the kookaburra to be the best messenger for joy, friendship, harmony and optimism.
