Hundreds enjoy country picnic

BUNNYCONNELLEN'S Sunday picnic was just the ticket to get over isolation hangover.

A Sunday Picnic

A SOLD out COVID-safe crowd shrugged off any lingering isolation cabin fever to enjoy a beautiful day under the trees and in the olive grove at Bunnyconnellen's Sunday picnic on the weekend.

Couples, families and friends - 300 in total - showed an early sign of a return to a new normal for tourism and event businesses of the area, hit hard by coronavirus restrictions.

In relation to keeping a business going inside the COVID-safe requirements Bunnyconnellen owner Ninian Stewart-Moore said, "We feel like we are treading on egg shells a little bit, but being very cautious… we are lucky we have about 4000 square metres of licensed area so we can spread people out."
