WELFARE agencies and police have rallied to find new accommodation for Helidon Mineral Spa Resort residents ahead of the park's auction next weekend.
An online listing says 63 static sites at the park off the Warrego Highway will go to auction at 10am on November 18 after leaflets were delivered to residents last month.
The announcement put existing tenants on notice, triggering a multi-agency response to help residents relocate and find other accommodation.
Helidon police joined Lockyer Valley Regional Council, Red Cross, Laidley Crisis Care, the Department of Housing and Rental Tenancies Agency on November 2 to find new housing options.
Representatives from Lifeline, the Department of Education, and Workplace Health and Safety also offered advice during the operation.
Sergeant Glen Thomas said the majority of tenants had made arrangements with few residents yet to find suitable housing.
"(The residents) are the sort of people where they don't often ask for help but when you bring that help to their doorstep, they often accept it," he said.
Sgt Thomas said short-term rentals were still available but for a maximum stay of 42 days, as defined under the caravan park and moveable dwelling clause of the Residential Tenancies and Rooming Accommodation Act 2008.
"Most of the sites are now empty - they have either self-placed or engaged with (Department of) Housing to find alternative housing," she said.
"There's maybe a dozen sites (with residents) left."
A number of residents have relocated to Atkinson's Dam and the Department of Housing was actively working with other tenants to help them enter the rental market, particularly for families in the park.
While previous multi-agency operations at the resort had targeted welfare issues such as drugs, debt and domestic violence, Sgt Thomas said the program earlier this month was about addressing any concerns residents had, and advising them of their rights.
"If worst comes to worst, they will have somewhere to go," Sgt Thomas said.
Concerned residents, in need of advice or help finding housing are urged to phone the Department of Housing on 46994406.
