One teenager has been transported to Gold Coast University Hospital in a life-threatening condition after coming off a dirt bike in Tallai.

Emergency services were called to a traffic crash on Wallandra Rd in Tallai at 4.15pm on Monday afternoon.

A Queensland Police Service spokesperson said two people appeared to have crashed into concrete and then hit a pipeline.

A spokesperson for Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) said a significant amount of crew were on scene including the critical care paramedics and high acuity response unit.

A male teenager was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries and female teenager was reported to be in a stable condition.
