Gold Coast police are desperately searching for a man who has been missing for more than two weeks.

Nathan Flegg was reported missing after he was seen leaving an address on Bayberry Lane in Robina between 6.15pm and 10.15pm on May 13.

The 47-year-old was then seen walking along the Gold Coast Highway at Palm Beach at about 5.30pm on May 17 but has not been seen or heard from since.

Police and family hold grave concerns for his welfare due to the length of time he has gone without contact.

Mr Flegg is described as caucasian, about 183cm tall with a solid build and blue eyes.

He has a butterfly tattoo on his upper right back shoulder, a Viking ornament tattoo on his left upper arm and a faded blue tattoo under his left eyebrow.

Mr Flegg was last seen wearing a brown puffer jacket, black T-shirt, camo cargo pants and blue sneakers.

Police are urging Mr Flegg, or anyone with information on his whereabouts, to call 131 444 and quote reference number QP2500835210.
