Geelong West woman, 31, dies after crash on rural road in Paraparap
A woman who died in a horror crash on a rural Surf Coast road was from Geelong.

A driver who died after her car hit a tree on a rural Surf Coast road has been identified as a Geelong woman.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Forest and Larcombes roads in Paraparap at 3.20pm on Wednesday.
Police have been told a car left the road and crashed into a tree.
A 31-year-old woman from Geelong West could not be revived and died at the scene.
An Ambulance Victoria spokesman confirmed paramedics were called to the scene.
The scene is north west of Torquay and Forest Rd, like many in the area, is lined with eucalyptus trees on each side.
It remained shut into Wednesday evening.
Seven emergency vehicles were on scene as of 4pm, but that number had dwindled to just three an hour later.
“An investigation into the crash is ongoing,” a police spokesman said.
