A nurse practitioner and advanced clinical trainer is the winner of Geelong’s best cosmetic injector vote.

Ashleigh Robinson has been crowned Geelong’s best cosmetic injector by Addy readers in 2024.
The director and owner of Tox Bar in Newtown was among 30 nominees and secured 59 of more than 450 votes.
She also has a unique role in training and education on top of being a nurse practitioner, which allows her to provide advanced consultations and treatments, and prescribe medications.
Ms Robinson is an advanced clinical trainer for pharmaceutical company Allergan.
Ms Robinson said she had been in the industry for 13 years and had owned Tox Bar for 10 years.
Ms Robinson has also expanded her business and started a venture called Arnicare about four years ago.
“It’s a post-procedural after-care, more for injectable or surgical after-care, using arnica and other active substances to reduce bruising and swelling,” she said.
“We’re now stocked in more than 110 clinics in Australia and across the world which is exciting.”
Ms Robinson said she was also passionate about holistic health, which tied into another of her businesses, Detox Superfood Bar, next door to Tox Bar in Newtown.
“We offer acai bowls and smoothies because when you feed your insides with superfoods you do see a difference in the skin and we see changes in our patients,” she said.
