VCE honour roll: Geelong’s top study scores revealed

Geelong’s top VCE performers are celebrating after receiving their final results on Monday.
More than 51,000 students from across Victoria found out their Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) and study scores for their VCE subjects.
This included 650 students who achieved perfect study scores of 50 and more than 21,000 of 40 or above.

Kardinia International College and Geelong College both had 113 study scores of 40 and above, making them among the top performing schools in the state.
Kardinia students excelled in English, general maths, physical education, psychology and visual communication and design.
Students at Geelong College took out top honours in biology, English, environmental science and legal studies.
Sacred Heart College (95), St Ignatius College (48), Geelong Grammar (64) and Belmont High School (18) also had high numbers of scores 40 and above.
According to the data, 120 students achieved 40 or above in English, 133 in general maths, 42 in psychology and 40 in biology.
