Two injured, one critically, in Geelong CBD collision
Detectives are following up reports one of the vehicles may have driven through a red light just prior to the collision.

Police are continuing to probe a three-vehicle collision in Geelong’s CBD that left a woman fighting for her life and another man in hospital.
Paramedics were called to the intersection of Eastern Beach Road and Bellerine Street just before 11am on Saturday after reports of a collision.
A Victoria Police spokeswoman said that the collision involved two cars and a small truck.
A 71-year-old female passenger from one of the cars had to be cut from the vehicle before she was taken to hospital with suspected life-threatening injuries.
She was originally taken to Geelong hospital, before being transferred to Royal Melbourne Hospital late on Saturday evening.
The 73-year-old male driver of the same car was also injured and has been taken to Geelong hospital for treatment.
The driver of both the other car and small truck weren’t injured.
An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said “two people were trapped in a vehicle for some time before being freed.”
Police cordoned off the area, while Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives probed the scene, investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.
According to Victoria Police, detectives are following up reports one of the vehicles may have driven through a red light just prior to the collision.
Police Victoria said on Sunday, “the investigation remains ongoing.”
