A truck has burst into flames on a major Geelong road on Thursday morning.
Emergency crews were called to the Geelong Ring Road near Lara about 8.30am after a rigid truck and trailer caught fire.
Footage of the blaze shows the driver’s cab on fire with thick, black smoke billowing from the truck.
Paramedics were called to the scene but no emergency treatment was required.
The incident has caused peak-hour chaos with traffic slowly crawling past the scene.
Drivers are urged to avoid the area.
