A lawsuit by three women against a medical clinic who employed a doctor accused of sexual assault has been scheduled for the Supreme Court.
The trio, who claim they were patients of a Shafiul Milky, are suing the Peninsula Family Medical Practice for damages.
Mr Milky, 60, is currently on bail pending a trial relating to sexual assault charges.
The Peninsula Family Medical Practice, based in Ocean Grove, will defend the lawsuit in the Supreme Court’s Civil Circuit in September.
The company directors have been contacted for comment.
Arnold Thomas and Becker lawyer and partner, Jodie Harris, said the firm was expecting to hold mediation talks with their clients and the clinic in July, who allege they were abused by Mr Milky.
A statement of claim for one of the women claims the alleged sexual assault and batteries inflicted on her by Milky resulted in significant economic loss and injuries, including post traumatic stress disorder, major depressive disorder, anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorder.
