THE first intake of Qantas Group Pilot Academy students got a sneak peek this morning at where they will be learning to fly.
Construction is currently under way on the academy at Toowoomba Wellcamp Airport, with several of the accommodation facilities nearing completion.
Construction on the main training building and hangar is also progressing.
12 students started their lessons today, using a temporary facility inside the main Wellcamp Airport terminal.
They will study inside the airport until December 20 and will move into their new accommodation and school when construction wraps up in January.
