POLICE are urging Toowoomba residents to keep their doors locked following a spate of break and enters.
Toowoomba police Sergeant Alan Dixon said there had been a total of four break and enters or attempted break and enters overnight.
Sgt Dixon said the offences had occurred in Harristown, East Toowoomba and two in Newtown with offenders poking holes in fly screens in order to access the houses.
He encouraged residents to keep both of their internal doors locked and consider upgrading their doors to include a plastic covering near the lock.
Police are investigating the incidents. Anyone with information should contact Toowoomba police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
