IN 41 seconds you can fly the full length of the Toowoomba Second Range Crossing, thanks to a new drone video.
The Department of Transport and Main Roads Queensland published a video of the bypass on Facebook, showing the full length of the $1.6 billion project.
It starts out at the Warrego Hwy at Helidon Spa and runs to the Gore Hwy at Athol.
The post read: "Fly the full length of the Toowoomba Second Range Crossing in 41 seconds. It'll take a bit longer than this once we're done but it'll be a super-efficient alternative crossing of the Toowoomba Range for all classes of heavy and super heavy vehicles."
Seeing the bypass from beginning to end wowed many people who described it as an impressive engineering feat.
Justin Case said: "That looks super, it's been over 10 years since I have been to Toowoomba but when this is finished it might be worth the run just for a look at it."
Claire Kimlin said: "Wow it's mammoth, just amazing."
Margaret Freestun said: "A great feat of engineering. Thanks MRD for improving our roads."
Paul Ando Anderson said: "Wow can't wait to use this road and thank you."
