AN AMBITIOUS building project has come to fruition as Quest Serviced Apartments welcomed its first intake of guests today.
Staff and guests mingled in the lobby, equally impressed by the brand-new accommodation in the restored Church of Christ building on Margaret St.

Construction of the 74-room apartment was officially started in April last year after a decade-long process for the FKG Group.
Quest Toowoomba franchisee Cynthia Rice has been with Quest since 2003 and said she couldn't be happier with the location of the new building and was thankful for the community's support of the project.
"The former Church of Christ building is of significant cultural value to the local community, representing part of Toowoomba's history, while having a wonderful aesthetic," she said.
She said bookings were rolling in particularly during Carnival of Flowers.

FKG Group developments consultant Darryl Green said the project aimed to "set a new standard of accommodation in Toowoomba."
"We wanted to be sure we met our tenant's brief and that Quest would be happy with the outcome. Just as importantly we wanted to make sure we preserved the heritage element of the site and added a building which would provide interest to the architectural fabric of the CBD. We are really happy with it and I think the rooms speak for themselves."
Located at 133 Margaret Street, the property features a combination of studio apartments with kitchenettes, along with one, two and three bedroom apartments, onsite car parking, gymnasium and conference room facilities. Visit questtoowoomba. com.au.
