An industrial building with multiple tenancies has been proposed to the Toowoomba Regional Council.
Applicant Bonvr Pty Ltd put forward plans to the council this week for a three-tenancy property on Freighter Ave in Wilsonton, a major industrial hub of Toowoomba.
According to the report by Precinct Urban Planning, the proposal will make use of the irregular shape of the land.
“The site is an irregular triangular-shaped allotment and the proposed single industrial building will include a tenancy of 672 sqm towards the front of the site adjacent the western boundary, another tenancy worth 364 sqm in the north western corner of the site and a third tenancy of 401 sqm along the balance of the rear northern boundary,” the report said.
“The building will have a height of 8.8m and has been designed to ensure the office of the front tenancy addresses Freighter Ave including substantial areas of glazing and the rear elevation facing Freighter Ave Park and Bridge St includes wall articulation, contrasting colours and a staff breakout area to provide visual interest when viewed from this elevation.
“Provision has been made for 20 on-site carparks including one PWD space and service vehicle access allows for refuse collection and medium rigid vehicle.”
The application included an attached report into stormwater management for the site.
The council has yet to respond with a request for further information.
