A DRIVER has come close to causing a serious crash after skipping a red light outside Super Rooster on Ruthven St.
Footage, featured in this month's Dash Cam Owners Australia video round-up, shows the moment a driver made the dangerous decision to speed through the intersection.
The clip starts with the dark blue Volkswagen sitting at the red light on the corner of Alderley and Ruthven sts, indicating to turn left.
Without warning, the car moves into the intersection on the red light, dodging cars from the other lane.
Instead of turning left, as the driver was planning, the car goes straight, narrowly avoiding other drivers.
The January compilation video has more than 620,000 views on YouTube.
