Residents have come out swinging after it was revealed a construction firm had been selected to form the business case for a new Toowoomba museum.
Toowoomba Regional Council revealed this week that the team that worked on an “extraordinary” gallery in Victoria had been charged with developing the business case for the project.
About $300,000 has been allocated in the council budget towards the business case.
Readers were split on the idea on social media, with some backing the council’s vision, while others saying the money needed to be spent elsewhere.
