A wholesale nursery at Cabarlah has been approved for an expansion.
Growing Solutions Australia applied to Toowoomba Regional Council in September for an extension of its existing greenhouse on land at 99 Castle Rd, Cabarlah.
The proposed expansion will increase the greenhouse area by 1782 sqm.
The development application also made provision for 12 carparking spaces and service vehicle movements between 6.30am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.
According to an assessment report compiled by a TRC officer, the proposed development “generally complies with the assessment benchmarks or it can be conditioned to comply”.
“Water supply for the use will be provided through on-site collection and reuse supplemented by council’s reticulated water supply.”
The development application was approved on November 18.
