Some of Toowoomba’s young creative budding artists got to “thrive on art” over the weekend in the Garden City.

Thrive on Arts is a creative space for young people, families and the wider community that celebrates play, imagination, creativity and storytelling during Toowoomba’s most vibrant and floral time of year.

At the weekend, the Empire Theatre stomped and roared back to prehistoric times.

The family program included a mixture of activities to excite the one to 12-year-olds and their adults.

Whether it was music, drama, art, or a workshop, kids young and old had a ball.
