A number of lucky Rosalie House Winery guests stopped to smell the rosé on Saturday during the charming Grape Harvest and Feast.
The family-friendly event wrapped up the month-long Harvest festival, which included live entertainment, endless wine tastings and a grape–stomping charity drive.
Rosalie House Cellar Door restaurant manager Renee Brown said the festival was a huge success following the less than ideal grape season in 2022, where excess rain sadly impacted their season.
Ms Brown said the extra moisture in the soil from last year’s wet weather made their 2023 crop better than ever.
Despite the season running later in the year due, Ms Brown said there was an abundance of stunning Shiraz grapes at the event.
On Saturday (February 2) about 25 festival-goers spent the morning harvesting the grapes, which they will again be able to revel in once the grapes are finished turning into wine.
It was the third time Rosalie House Winery hosted the event, which highlighted stunning locally grown produce while also giving back to the community.
During the 2023 Charity Grape Stomp the local business raised money for Toowoomba charities, Protea Place which supports women in need and wellness centre Hope Horizons.
Ms Brown said there would be another special event hosted in collaboration with other local businesses in April.
