It was all about families on the first day of the Heritage Bank Toowoomba Royal Show, with bumper crowds blowing away the COVID-19 blues as the Easter holiday period wraps up.
Along with a dazzling array of entertainment options, all the classic show attractions made a return this year.
Kids made the most of Sideshow Alley rides and showbags, while there were also petting zoos, camel rides and gardening sessions for young youngsters to enjoy.
And of course, no show public holiday would be complete without a visit to the Shannon’s Chips van, along with the dozens of other food vendor options scattered across the showgrounds.
Families are also expected to make the most of the night-time entertainment on Saturday night, which includes monster trucks and a fireworks competition.
