Three south Cairns teens were part of a larger group charged with cannabis-related offences following police raids of White Rock, Mount Sheridan and Bentley Park houses this week.
Edmonton police have charged eight people with 18 offences after four search warrants were executed on Wednesday, February 7 under the banner of Operation Thiele.
Operation Thiele was launched to disrupt the production and supply of cannabis in the Cairns area.
During the search of four properties in White Rock, Mount Sheridan and Bentley Park, officers allegedly located a quantity of cannabis, cannabis plants and utensils.
A 27-year-old White Rock man was charged with one count each of producing dangerous drugs, possessing dangerous drugs and possess utensils.
He was scheduled to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court on February 7.
A 20-year-old White Rock woman and 24-year-old White Rock man were given drug diversions.
A 14-year-old White Rock girl was charged with one count each of possessing dangerous drugs, possess utensils and obstruct police, and two counts of assault police.
She is scheduled to appear in the Cairns Childrens Court.
A 16-year-old White Rock girl was charged with one count of possess utensils.
She is scheduled to appear in the Cairns Childrens Court.
An 18-year-old Bentley Park man was charged with one count of possessing dangerous drugs and two counts of possess utensils.
He is scheduled to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court on February 21.
A 19-year-old Bentley Park man was charged with one count each of possessing dangerous drugs and possess utensils.
He is scheduled to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court on February 16.
