Top five highest priced homes in Far North Qld

Luxury home buyers are increasingly setting their sights on the Far North, seeing growth potential compared with traditionally sought-after destinations like Noosa. See the top five highest priced homes in Cairns.

Interstate buyers seeking luxury coastal living are increasingly setting their sights on the Far North, which they believe offers great value compared with markets like Noosa.

FNQ Hot Property principal Nathan Shingles sold a Bluewater Harbour home for $3.8m a few months ago and will settle this week on a single storey, three bedroom home in the Trinity Park estate for $3.1m this week.

“These sales are happening a lot quicker than in the past decade, Bluewater is more widely known throughout the country, it has really come into its own, finally,” Mr Shingles said.

“There’s a lot of interest from southern markets because there’s still value in our market, while it has increased, there’s certainly value compared with Noosa and other prestige markets, we have growth potential, for east coast waterfront property,” he said.
