Fusion-style dishes, cosy vibes and great coffee are on the menu at new Trinity Park eatery Everyday Lover.
Started by owner of popular Holloways Beach restaurant Two Blocks, Daniel Williams, and new business partner Josh Garrard, Everyday Lover offers a range of sweet treats, hot drinks and delectable brunch items.
Over the years, Two Blocks had garnered a large following prior to its closure in early April.
Mr Garrard, who doubles as the restaurant’s chef, revealed some of their most popular menu items included ramen-fried chicken and breakfast-lunch dishes.
“We’ve got a few classic dishes but one of the most popular dishes so that we’ve got is our fragrant lamb with fried eggs and chilli butter, which has been really popular,” Mr Garrard said.
Despite the restaurant’s soft launch opening a week ago, Mr Williams said the eatery had quickly garnered a large following.
“We hadn’t announced we were opening, and we’ve been full every day, from early morning till the end of the day. It’s incredible,” he said.
Mr Williams said they hoped to expand the restaurant in the coming months, including an all-day menu, dinner items and wine bar.
“We want something cozy with good music, good food and great coffee. We’ll kind of transition into dinner and wine bar bistro eventually,” Mr Williams said.
Enhancing the cosy vibe, Mr Williams said one of the most popular features of the restaurant was the record player with a hundred strong collection of vinyls.
“A big feature of the restaurant the record player and Josh has brought in hundreds of records which we’re rotating, so it’s really fun,” Mr Williams said.
