Police are investigating an assault on a teenage girl near a Mount Sheridan shopping centre on Tuesday afternoon.
Police allege two males, believed to be between 16 and 18 years old, approached a 16-year-old girl who was riding her e-scooter along the Bruce Highway.
It is understood the girl had left Mount Sheridan Plaza when two people on bicycles approached her from behind, about 3.30pm on April 15.
Police allege one of the bike riders pushed the girl’s e-scooter handlebars, forcing her to lose control and fall onto the path.
The girl sustained injuries to her face and hands and required medical treatment.
Her e-scooter and mobile phone were also damaged in the incident.
The alleged offenders were riding bikes, wore long black pants, long sleeve tops, gloves and what appeared to be black masks.
