Bull's bold dash for freedom leaves man in hospital

RACQ Careflight was needed twice at the same incident yesterday after a man was charged by a bull that had survived a truck rollover near Chinchilla.

The truck rolled about 4.30am on the Warrego Hwy 5km east of Chinchilla.

It took emergency services more than three hours to cut the injured driver from the wreckage. He was airlifted by the RACQ Careflight helicopter to Toowoomba Hospital with leg injuries.

Emergency services cut driver free from truck rollover

The helicopter was called back to the scene shortly after after a Chinchilla man was charged by one of the bulls that was being transported in the cattle truck.

He was also airlifted to Toowoomba Hospital with chest and leg injuries.
