THE construction of Grand Central was completed late last year, but that doesn't mean all retail spots were filled.
New retailers and food outlets are always opening at the shopping centre, adding something extra for city shoppers.
From Asian eateries to massage parlours, Grand Central is a very different shopping hub than it was 12 months ago.
1. Baskin Robbins
Baskin Robbins has now opened in iPlay at Grand Central.
It is the world's largest chain of ice cream specialty shops.
They create premium ice cream, frozen desserts and beverages.
It's the perfect treat for families while they race around playing the different arcade games at iPlay.
2. Fox and Willow Boutique
Fox and Willow Boutique has opened a pop-up store on level one of Grand Central.
The local boutique has worked hard to collect some of the best labels from Australia.
Owner Kate Duncan said she was proud to be operating within the centre.
"I am happy to be able to bring some of Australia's best designers to Toowoomba," she said.
"Customer Service is still our number one priority, delivering that intimate one on one boutique feel to your shopping experience."
3. IPPIN Ramen and Bowl
IPPIN Ramen and Bowl opened at Grand Central's original food court earlier this month.
It specialises in traditional tonkotsu ramen and Japanese comfort food called donburi bowl.
Australian pork is used in its secret ramen soup recipe, along with natural ingredients, meaning no salt or nasty food chemicals.
Its donburi bowl has freshly cooked toppings with locally sourced fresh salad and chicken. It is a healthy everyday food that customers can customise their way.
4. Eats of Asia
Eats of Asia has opened in Grand Central's food court by a chef who has cooked for the Queen.
Owner Tony Cheng came to Australia from Hong Kong when he was 22 and completed a cooking apprenticeship at the Hilton.
Tony has a long history in the food and beverage industry spanning over 40 years where he has worked, owned and operated numerous restaurants throughout Australia.
The outlet showcases the fresh ingredients used together with cooking styles from many regions throughout Asia including Malaysia, Singapore, Thai and Hong Kong.
5. Massage Grace
Massage Grace opened on level one of Grand Central near Floral Nails last week.
The massage store welcomes bookings and walk-ins, and offers Chinese acupressure massage, reflexology, remedial massage, oil massage and traditional Chinese therapy.
6. Juris
Juris opened in Grand Central last week and specialises in pearls, silver jewellery and accessories.
It is the second store to open in Queensland, the other being at Westfield Garden City.
It is a one-stop-shop for the latest trendy jewellery, pearls, hair accessories and brooches.
7. Toowoomba Motor Group
Toowoomba Motor Group has opened Toowoomba's first ever servicing and sales centre within Grand Central.
The store can be found at the base of the Food Court near the Myer entrance.
The Kia store is not only open for people to browse the high quality, new vehicles but to also drop off your existing preloved vehicle for servicing whilst you conveniently browse through some of Toowoomba's latest stores or catch up with a friend over lunch.
