‘Truth will come out’: Tommy Fury speaks out about split from Molly-Mae Hague

Tommy Fury has declared the “truth will come out” about his split from Molly-Mae Hague, suggesting it wasn’t for the reason fans think.

Tommy Fury has vowed “the truth will come out in time” about his break-up from fiance Molly-Mae Hague, in his first interview since their shock split.

The former couple, who met on reality series Love Island UK in 2019 and got engaged last July, announced in August that their five-year relationship had “come to an end”.

“Never in a million years did I think I’d ever have to write this,” Hague wrote on Instagram at the time.

“I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy’s relationship has come to an end. You have all been a part of our journey and I feel it is right to share this with you all.”

Fans of the pair, who welcomed their daughter, Bambi, in January 2023, went into overdrive speculating over why they had parted ways, with many accusing the celebrity boxer had cheated – rumours he has repeatedly denied.

Others suggested Hague had called time on their engagement due to Fury’s excessive partying.

Speaking to the Daily Mail UK, the 25-year-old once again shot down the suggestion he’d been unfaithful, deeming the allegations “completely false”.

“The truth will come out in time and when it does I think a lot of people might regret their actions and unkind words,” Fury told the outlet.

“What the public thinks is going on isn’t what is going on. It’s not something I envisaged happening, but it didn’t come out of nowhere.

“It’s a thing that was there previously to all this happening, but the only people who know what is going on in our relationship is me and Molly.”

Fury said he’d never even entertained the thought of cheating on Hague, also 25.

“When you get to that stage (of wanting to be unfaithful), I think you should just call it a day,” he said.

“If you want to go out there and have affairs with women, then you definitely shouldn’t be with your partner. Definitely not. And have I ever reached that point? No.”

He also expressed his wishes to get back together with Hague, who he praised for holding “the fort at home” and being a “super strong mother” to their daughter.

“It is proper love. Do I still love Molly? 100 per cent. I will love her until my final breath. The minute I saw her, I thought, ‘Yes, she’s the woman of my dreams’,” Fury said.

He added that he knows “what I have to do in order to resolve things”.

“That’s down to me. Nobody else can do that other than me.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Fury said: “Everybody could think what they want about me and say what they want about me. As long as my family think I’m a good man and Jesus Christ thinks I’m a good man, I don’t care what anybody else has to say.”
